Mathematics is just a matter of understanding and applying concepts. Mathematics is like the other academic subjects, such as literature, english, history and others. Only a matter of interest and strong will to perceive is what really matters. It isn't difficult at all.

Perhaps the reason behind for many for hating, otherwise not liking math, is that they were not able to establish interest in this field when they were still young(in elementary or even in kindergarten).  Parents also play a vital role in inculcating the love for math in their children. Maybe like their children, they too were not encourage by their parents to engage more attention to math.

It is interesting too, to argue with the reason of others for not giving efforts to understand math.  A former teacher of mine said that she really hates math, and her teacher in math did not encourage her to learn it, furthermore, she said, "And what if I'm not good in math, anyway I wouldn't use "x+y" when Im going to buy a lot,  would I be using square root when buying merchandise?

Well, probably you're not going to use these stuffs. However It can also be an advantage when engaging in business such as purchasing merchandise and buying a lot, so that you cannot be tricked by dealers in case they sold you an area of lot not equivalent to the money you paid.

Remember, If not because of these mathematical formulae we wouldn't enjoy the advancement of technology that we are currently using now. We wouldn't even have a chance of using a computer. There wouldn't be internet. Everything should have not been invented wouldn't it because of math.

However, I may not be able to answer that question of my former teacher. Indeed, she might never use extracting roots when purchasing commodities. But always keep in mind that KNOWLEDGE IS POWER.

Hey buddy, playing hardcore games on a netbook or a small version of a laptop is a tough thing to do and probably, just can't be done. The main problem which hinders netbook owners to play the hard stuff may arise due to the limit on the capability of the hardware, such as graphic cards or video card, random access memory, screen resolutions and others and the list could go on indefinitely.

One common problem is that the game won’t start, one possible debug here is to alter the resolution/game configuration. So, I will guide you how to run Battle Realms on your netbook. If you’re having troubles with you screen resolution. This works on most netbooks nowadays as it has been working on my Acer Aspire One Happy 2, it would probably work on yours, too.

Procedure:

1.) Go to the Battle Realms directory. Commonly C:\Program Files\Battle Realms

2.) Find the Battle Realms configuration file. (I think it should be named Battle_Realms with a notepad-like icon)

3.) Open it with notepad and look for the [videostate] and you’ll find the settings there.

-my aspire one buddy works with a 800x600 screen resolution with 16bit depth, but yours may work on 640×480 or perhaps same as mine.

4.) Save it and hooarayyy! You’ve just got your buddy running!

Internet simply made the world much smaller as it was before, however it also made our world more diverse and our daily lives more complex. This proves how incredible and powerful the internet is. Everything is there, just one click and you've got an instant result. Technology had really evolved immensely compared to that of time immemorial. Nothing is too impossible, limitation no longer exists. The words limitation and impossible is being slowly killed by how technology functions.

Today there are a lot of site which had sprouted from different parts of the globe, however only few of them can really give solutions to what we are seeking for.

I first used the internet when I entered high school. Internet is one of the most spoken words, by my peers and others. This made me curious regarding what really internet is. For the sake of my curious mind, I took courage to answer the questions which surrounded my head. Together with a friend of mine, we entered an Internet cafe, and we browse the computer and surf the world wide web. At first, I was really amazed by how it functioned. But later on, i get used to its wondrous power. Aside from internet, Friendster was also a widely used word in the corners of our classroom and even outside. So I also made myself an account in Friendster - the most popular networking site at that time.

Curiosity led me explore and my knowledge regarding the cyberworld gradually grew.

Nowadays, Juveniles are engaged in several social issues. Among these social issues is that the youth is no longer the hope of our nation, contrary to the commonly used and very popular saying of Dr. Jose Rizal. Instead, we have become part of the many social problems that augmented to the government’s burden.

We have transformed from the patriotic and nationalistic youth in the revolutionary times to the chaotic and indolent one of today. We are often criticized by the elder generations for the lack or inability to show our love for our people and our country. Many are saying that it has been long gone from us. Perhaps, they are correct.

Where are the youth today? Most probably we would find ourselves in front of computers, either busy playing games or surfing the net. Just for fun and entertainment purposes. There are also those others, who are enjoying hanging with friends and most of the time, doing non-sense things or perhaps, worse if, using prohibited drugs, because of curiosity and experiment matters, and because of the peer’s influence.

Although the new president is willing to help us to redirect our path to what he termed as "ang matuwid na landas,” if we ourselves are not willing to act, then this righteous path will forever become a dream. There would even come a time that these young people of today will be the very cause of the destruction of our beloved nation.

However, it is not too late, to be active and to assist our leaders to fulfill their good visions for all. There are a lot of things that we can do.

Not only in the singing of the national anthem, neither in the recital of the Philippine pledge nor in giving respect to the flag that we could show our nationalism. Putting trashes on the right place, keeping the surroundings clean, and abiding by the laws, such as crossing the streets in the pedestrian lanes, are simple acts yet also a means of caring for our motherland.

So don’t tell me that, I am just a single person, I don’t even have much money to give to the needy, nor am I capable of ruling my people and directing them towards the better, because I’ll tell you, even the most tiny particle is still constituted by several parts that works together to form a whole. So as, with an atom, it is composed of neurons, protons, electrons and others that have its own function.

Therefore, if everyone is going to act, though it is small, if combined together can be of great help, not only for other, but we are performing these for ourselves and our son’s and daughter’s future.

Our ways of expressing nationalism might differ from those of the revolutionary period, since every generation differs from the other. What is important is that we are doing our parts.
